Yes? Sign up for the World Nomads travel writing scholarship competition and win the chance to learn professional travel writing skills on the ground, starting August 15 in Berlin. Three competition winners will be flown to Europe for 12 days, all expenses paid. I’ll lead three straight days of travel writing instruction in Berlin, both in-class exercises and real-world situations on the ground in Berlin.
Afterwards, the three winners will head on the road for 10 days on their own. They’ll write blog posts for World Nomads every day or two in three cities of their choice.
In the meantime, if you’d like to know more about what it’s like to be a travel writer or Lonely Planet author, you can read the interview I did with World Nomads.
